Customer's perspective
Note
The Customer's perspective in the mind a software architect is of what the client needs and what they want from the business.
So architects ask themselves a question: "Am I adding value to my client ?" If the answer is no, then they failed one of the responsibilities of an architect which is to deliver a product within the resources of the client.
Sometimes the value is something tangible like extra functionality or features, but it can also be non-functional requirements like maintainability, which is Ensuring the product is well built, so as it is used over the next decade and new requirements are needed they will be relatively easy to add.
The architects then say "Do i understand the problem correctly ?" or "Does the application/system match my understanding so that i can solve the problem ?".
